This program area supports projects developed by the Board of Directors, associates or program staff that may fall outside of the Foundation’s general grant making guidelines. These grants provide the Foundation the opportunity, and flexibility, to support worthwhile projects and organizations that may not qualify as one of the Foundation’s primary funding areas or that may be outside of the its primary Midwest service area.

The Foundation awards these grants based on proposals that have been specifically solicited by a member of the Foundation.
