Entrepreneurship Education Partners
The Foundation has supported programs focusing on the development of entrepreneurship as an academic discipline and creation of entrepreneurs. Partners include organizations such as:
- The National Association for Community Colleges Entrepreneurship (NACCE) was created to establish entrepreneurship education as a core offering to foster economic development through community colleges.
- The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) advances knowledge and fosters business development through entrepreneurship education and research.
- The Consortium on Entrepreneurship Education is for teachers, instructors, program developers and others who help students of all ages find their own entrepreneurship opportunities.
- The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) helps youth from low-income communities build skills and unlock their potential for entrepreneurship.
- The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) informs, supports and inspires college students to be entrepreneurs and seek opportunity through enterprise creation.
- The Self-Employment in the Arts (SEA) program provides a platform for successful self-employed artists to share career experiences and business lessons with students.
- The Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education (IIEE) fosters growth and development of entrepreneurship education particularly among youth and promotes the role and contributions of entrepreneurs in economic development and job creation.
